Nike Air Max 97 Womens Silver Running Shoe Review 2022

May 26, 2018 by Editorial Team

Today I’ll be showing you one of my latest pickups the Nike Air Max 97 Women Silver Running Shoe Bullet which hasn’t re-released in its OG form since 2012 this year 2021 marks the silhouette’s 20th anniversary and Nike ended up dropping a special limited version in Italy only. Back in October that was nearly impossible to get your hands on more pairs were released in the States and in Europe last month but not many retailers released pairs online making them hard to cop they were also available in men’s and women’s sizes. I got lucky and was able to grab a pair online let me know down below if you copped or if you’re still waiting for a wider stateside release hopefully that will happen soon but Nike hasn’t confirmed anything as of yet now.

Nike Air Max 97 Women’s Silver 20TH Anniversary Review

Let’s check out the shoe the inspiration for the design came from water ripples in a pond the ripples on the upper pop one light hits the 3m which is always dope another fun fact about the Air Max 97. It was the first Air Max model to feature a full-length air unit the air units also possess different psi to help cushion your feet in various strike zones the original version actually had the PSI written on the outsole but the new version doesn’t overall the quality is amazing.

It’s definitely not worth it quality and tech-wise I’m sure older sneakerheads would agree to size-wise. I want true to size and they fit perfectly you could probably even do a half size up which would give you a little wiggle room. This retro and one additional colorway or colorways you’re anticipating I really hope Nike drops the gold colorway that would be a must cop stick around for the on feet.

Overview of Nike Air Max 97

Nike Air Max 97

The surprise package from Nike runner and inside that package were these so these are the air max 97 quick strike in the Silver Bullet colorway. So first off a huge thank you goes out to Nike Toronto for hooking me up with these Air Max 97 inside the box was also this personalized card that reads all aboard. The Nike Air Max 97 Silver Bullet makes its return after 20 years of swoosh BAM at Nike Toronto the official colorway for this shoe is metallic silver varsity red white and black. Locally these were available at select champs Foot Locker and the foot action store as well as the Nike running store in the event center as well as select boutiques such as livestock and capsule so first off this Ermac 27 solar bullet colorway is widely considered as one of the pillars of the Air Max line along with the white red Air Max.

Ones the infrared 90s and neon 95s these four shoes are widely considered as the top four Air Max models as well as the colorways of the respective models these were designed by Christian Chesser and they debuted back in 1997 which was 20 years ago. The design behind these Air Max 97 is said to be inspired by the Japanese high-speed bullet trims back when this release was widely considered a very futuristic design so as you can tell this side panel on both sides of the shoe are made up of these different layers of leather. With the 3m and mesh in different tones of white and grey we can see how these curved lines right here give us a very dynamic and aggressive booking silhouette.

Construction of Nike Air Max 97

Nike Air Max 97

As I mentioned earlier there is 3m on this upper which gives it that reflective property when there’s flash hitting the shoe so this can be found on these top three lines right here which make its way around the side of the shoe and around the toe box before making its way back to the back here. There are also 3m found along the tongue running up and around this logo right here the tongue is made up of this great mesh material that is quite soft to the touch and the laces on these are your standard ropes always done in the metallic silver color the back of the tongue as well as the interior liner of the chute is done in black and taking a look. At the back heel, there is this pull tab done in a combination of black parsley red, and metallic silver text that reads Airmax aside from that there’s also a varsity red swoosh found right here on both the lateral as well as the medial side along with a Nike swoosh.

On this tongue pull tab on the top right here another point of significance for the Nike Air Max 97 Women is that it’s the very first shoe in the AIRMATIC line that featured this full-length one-piece air bubble so historically. What we found was that there was an air bubble in the heel and an air bubble in the forefoot but for this shoe, this features the full-length Air Max bubble that starts from the forefoot makes its way down the length of the shoe and end on the back heel. Sandwich between the upper and the air global is this white foam material that features a Nike swoosh on the back I do have to say though that this foam portion is painted on and it’s quite obvious for some pairs so for certain pairs.

I hope that you can really see the brushstrokes and it’s not quite as even as it should be flipping the shoe to the bottom we have your classic Nike Air Max 97 Women outsole that’s done in a combination of white with hints of varsity red and black rubber. The insoles on these 97 are completely removable and they are done completely in black and they feature this metallic silver Nike swoosh that’s found on the heel in terms of sizing based on opinions. Nike shoes like the flying a tracer the brochure the Air Max one Air Max 90 all of these across-the-board. There are visible paint strokes found on this little area and along with this, there are also some slight blue stains that sound along the upper as well as some fraying on the actual laces of this ship overall though it’s not something.

[i2pc][i2pros]Durable – The rubber outsole increases durability. Consumers reported enjoying the product even after several months of usage.
Fashionable – Most of the comments agreed on the trendiness of the product.
Comfortable – Consumers reported liking the way their feet felt inside the shoes after several hours of having them on. Great for long walks.
High-Quality Material – The combination of leather with synthetic leathers and the fabric mesh were considered to be high-quality materials and durable.
Versatile – Nike Air Max 97 goes well as a sophisticated lifestyle-piece as well as running shoes.
Colorways – Sneakerheads will most likely want all the colorways. But even more, moderate users will appreciate the variety and uniqueness of each piece.[/i2pros][i2cons]Run small – This is not really a con, but if you know it beforehand make sure you go half a size up and you are good to go!
Rigid – Few users complained about the stiffness of the shoes, but be patient, don’t give up on your Nike Air Max 97 just yet, give it a break-in period and you are all set![/i2cons][/i2pc]

Mizuno Wave Creation 18 Women’s Running Shoe Review

May 2, 2018 by Editorial Team

Mizuno Wave Creation 18 Womens Running Shoe

Mizuno Wave Creation 18 Women’s Running Shoe is closer to Mizuno wave creation 17 by shape and performance. There is a slight difference but a better one in the technology used in this shoe pair. It is practised to overcome the cons of the previous version in this current object. It is a multi-purpose shoe pair that is designed not only for flat-footed but also for arched footed athletes. It is more comfortable and efficient in working.

The Appearance of Mizuno Wave Creation 18 Women’s Running Shoe

Mizuno Wave Creation 18 Womens Running Shoe

Mizuno Wave Creation 18 is employing a lot of their signature wave cushioning, it’s a flagship that is simple to see on people’s feet as you go out on runs or in local races. The shoe has great stability and is a great option for the mid-range training runs. However, there are some significant flaws that hold back this shoe for this. It is a premium coach, that uses all Mizuno’s premium materials. It sits at the Peak of the food-chain for Mizuno trainers being one of the most well-known Crossfit shoes they supply and a financial step down from the Prophecy. Upon unboxing I believed these shoes seemed great and they are a few of the best looking shoes I’ve been sent.

They have a great colour scheme and an aggressive appearance to them. The wave cushioning only being beneath the heel helps with the appearance as well. However, on the very first run, I had the idea that these high-cushioned shoes appeared to lack the cushion that was promised. The sole component of the shoe uses a mix of Mizuno’s Signature Infinity Wave Cushioning and U4ic foam. The Wave cushioning is a flexible plastic that creates a spring response when compressed and assists a runner throughout their heel-to-toe transition. But, I didn’t experience that, instead, I experienced a very firm ride that was just fine for mid-sized runs, but abandoned missing during the double-digit runs or longer.

The other thing I found on my runs was that if the concrete Was wet, these sneakers became tricky to run in. They did not have a good grip on regular surfaces throughout my first few runs, however, that went away as I stuck them in. Nevertheless, the general clasp became something that played in my mind once I thought of which shoes to wear on my run daily. The upper is exceptionally comfortable. It is completely breathable while not being porous to water. Your toes will feel cooled and clean with this top-notch. Mostly seamless, using quite a few stiff overlays that help secure your feet into the upper. Nonetheless, these overlays are required because the shoe is a lot wider a fit that is a similar shoe from another brand. Actually, the upper feels wide throughout — from heels to toe. As a result of this broad feeling, I pulled the laces as tight as they would go before I sensed completely locked in.

With pulling the laces like this, there was so much shoelace left, that sometimes the loops of my shoelaces would go awry causing me to almost fall a few times. I expect them to be more comfortable in all runs short/fast or even long/slow. But this shoe did not live up to this expectation at all. As every day, wear to school and instruct shoe, these are great. When I wished to go 5-9 miles at a simple rate, they were great. It is A little much for me to fall on a pair of specialization mid-sized shoes. I understand that they have a loyal fanbase and following. However, these are not shoes I’d recommend to many runners.

Mizuno Wave Creation 14 Women’s Running Shoe Review

May 2, 2018 by Editorial Team

Mizuno Wave Creation 14 Womens Running Shoe

Mizuno wave creation women’s running shoe presents Mizuno wave creation 14 Women’s Running Shoe with ultimate protection. Cheer up your athletic skills with this striking pair of shoes. It is a complete package that beautifully comes fit the shape of the foot and also a very comfortable article that gives a delightful underfoot feeling. Infinity wave system in the heel gives smoothness and soothing effect like a cushion to the feet. DynaMotion Fit System let the shoe fit in the form of your natural shape of the foot. These features combine to create the best fusion of smart fast driven run with a lightweight feeling. Mizuno Women’s Wave Creation 14 Shoe Weight: 9.7 oz.

The Appearance of Mizuno Wave Creation 14 Women’s Running Shoe

Mizuno Wave Creation 14 Womens Running Shoe

The Wave Creation is among Mizuno’s premium neutral trainers (Wave Enigma is the other). Its most distinguishing feature is the lack of midsole foam in the heel. Instead, the Creation utilizes a uniquely designed Wave plate to deliver cushioning. As a result of this design, the Creation looks very much like a concept shoe, but it is made for everyday training. Mizuno was revamping the uppers on this season’s lineup while maintaining the only units unchanged. So, there are a number of alterations to the upper. But the changes are not as drastic as those made to the Inspire 9 along with the Rider 16. Unlike the Inspire 9 and the Rider 16, the Mizuno Wave Creation 14 didn’t shed any overlays. The overlay pattern remains the same, but the substances have been reduced, which results in small weight savings. In my hands, the forefoot doesn’t bend very easily. This is because of the Flex Controllers the 2 bands at the outsole, which are designed to slow down the foot on ground contact and provide a receptive toe-off. I believe that the layout is a success on the run, as it results in a very smooth ride. Though I feel this technology works well on the run, people who want an extremely flexible forefoot might not have to the Creation. Like the Enigma, the Creation includes a full span Wave plate. But unlike the Enigma, the Wave plate at the Creation is two-tiered starting from the midfoot through the heel.

This design makes the Creation very stiff side-by-side. Of all of the Mizuno neutral trainers, the Creation is easily very torsionally rigid. For a runner using a flexible foot but that does not encounter overpronation, this rigidity will be a welcomed feature. However, a runner whose foot is much more rigid, the rigidity of this Creation may cause some fit issues. I had to loosen the laces to prevent my arches from cramping, and also this looseness, consequently, caused my heel to slip. The heel counter is quite stiff. When I push down on it or squeeze it, it barely moves. Again, for somebody who needs some construction but doesn’t like the conventional lateral pole, this stiffness will be a welcomed feature. Underneath the Mizuno Wave Creation 14 retains everything exactly the same, carrying over the only unit in the 13. Mizuno running shoes have a reputation for a company and responsive feel. The Creation is probably the firmest of this total Mizuno neutral line. I have trained a lot from the Rider, the Precision, along with the Enigma, and the stability of the Creation has been an alteration. After I corrected, I found the Production to have a fairly smooth transition from toe-to-heel.

Performance of Mizuno Wave Creation 14 Women’s Running Shoe

Mizuno Wave Creation 14 Women’s Running Shoe

The heel aspect of the unit, as I said previously, is composed of a two-tiered plastic Wave plate, rather than the traditional EVA foam. To take whole advantage of this unique design, a runner has to make a lot of impact forces in the mind. Otherwise, the dual-layer of plastic in the heel does not add much to the ride. In fact, a midfoot striker might not find enough cushion from the Creation and might be better off going with the Enigma. Another intriguing characteristic of the heel is that it is decoupled. Decoupling the heel will smooth out the trip, but it might lead to another matter too. I’ve heard complaints of the Creation wearing down in the heel. After about 60+ miles, I didn’t observe any of early wear, but I suspect that those who’ve might be striking between the decoupled parts of their heel. The doubled Wave plate gives the Creation what I believe is its defining feature, and that’s its torsional rigidity. I see this runner as someone with a lot of movement in their foot perhaps due to an overly flexible arch or flat foot but that does not necessarily overpronate. To get a runner with this profile, the Creation’s rigidity will offer the structure they may need for a comfortable ride while providing all the influence security of a top cushion trainer.

As I mentioned earlier, the upper features all-new substances, which deliver superb comfort and breathability, all in a weight loss. Rather there is some foam inserted in the heel aspect. If the shoe fits someone nicely through the midfoot, then the foam will be enough to lock down the heel. However, if a runner, like me, has to loosen up the laces to get some room to move from the midfoot, then that runner will encounter slipping in the heel. The quality of the mesh in the forefoot gives the feet a cozy ride. However, the first overlay, directly behind the toes, sat precisely where my forefoot flexed, which began to create a hot spot. If you are already a lover of the Crossfit Shoes, then I am certain that you’ll be happy with version 14. In particular, you’ll be pleased with the new substances from the top. But if you’re not familiar with the Creation, and want to know whether it’s the right shoe for you, then I think you will find some problems of fit to think about. The specific manner the Wave plate is devised in the Creation makes the shoe perfect for a heel-striker. But more importantly, it gives the shoe a lot of rigidity, which may be unnecessary, and therefore cause match issues.

The Wave Creation 12 is another evolution in high-performance running shoes using a really natural feel. Designed for the perfect match and unbeatable comfort for the long haul, Infinity Wave structure gives them incredible cushioning, rebound and endurance. Large flex grooves and flex controls transfer more energy in forwarding movement. As running shoes go, the Wave Creation 17 is a fantastic leap forward. The midsole-less Mizuno Wave Creation 12 includes a unique sole-plate that creates a rocking motion during jogging offering quite sleek heel-to-toe transition. The Wave Creation 12 wowed us with its unique layout: there’s a gap in which the midsole is assumed to be. The shoe’s footbed is held up rather by a great deal of plastic.

Performance of Mizuno Wave Creation 12 Women’s Running Shoe

Mizuno Wave Creation 12 Womens Running Shoe

Runners will appreciate the rocking sensation supplied by the plastic sole-plate, since the shoe transits from heel-strike to toe-off. You are going to want to break in the Wave Creation 12 slowly before taking it out for a lengthy run. This will let you familiarise yourself with the shoe’s stiffer footbed along with the rocking motion of the sole-plate. It supplied excellent venting for our feet, right out of our first run. The lack of a conventional foam midsole translated into a foot mattress that felt quite rigid during our conduct. This sturdy shoe would no doubt appeal to the neutral-footed, heavier runner looking for more protection against long distance, higher impact running. The Wave Creation 12’s conventional-looking upper mitigates the somewhat bizarre looks of its own sole. Perfect for the running shoe geek.
