It’s a much looser much more padded heel collar than what we and before maintains a gusseted tongue. If you will which guides a little more surface area and lets them grip a lot better in closing this is a great shoe this is the type of shoe that I think I can just throw in my car keep with me all the time.

Whether I’m running some Road some really aggressive trail some groomed trail rocks you name it this is a pretty good shoe for all of those things the lack of a rock plate. It’s somewhat noticeable but man it’s been very minimal compared to what I thought it would be the biggest thing for me is durability and this seems to be an ongoing issue with lots and lots of shoes that I’ve been trying lately and that is this pinch points upfront just keep getting fried even really early on with mileage.

So top-down I must quickly skip over that these laces are again a little thin well it’s skinny for our personal taste. I feel like whoever made these is identical. They stay tied there are no hot spots they’re great the tongue perfect amount of padding I love the lace guidance on here it’s diagonal from the lower right upper left there are two spots for these it’s pass-through and both of them are fairly really wide. So the lace can slide up and down depending on how you want to lace this shoe. I would imagine anyone with a really high top-line underfoot or really high arch will love this because the lace isn’t stuck in one spot. So you’re less likely to get any kind of hot spots or potential irritation.
